Academic

"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."  Proverbs 22:6

We understand that the importance of strong academic curriculums concurrent with experience bring about a broader more effective learning dynamic and, therefore, integrate God's Word, nature, wildlife, organic farming, art, music, athletics...etc. for a diverse, hands-on approach to learning.  Proverb 9:10 states, both implicitly and explicitly to seek knowledge that we might gain understanding and discernment. While educating children in this manner we reveal that the knowledge of God is the beginning of wisdom.

Our curriculum also provides our students with factual and tangible knowledge to build understanding and the methodology to refine the skills and understanding acquired in order that our students will be able to make wise decisions, and  increase the discernment against pervasive falsehood.

 A Christ Centered Education

“What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?“ Mark 8:36

Our routine comes under the direct scrutiny of the Scripture’s loving and guiding light. We have daily morning devotions during Bible study, subjects including but not limited to; Arithmetic, Physical Science, ELA, History, Health, Reading, Penmanship, Spanish, Art, Music, PE ...etc that each include and exemplify Biblical principles and positive morals throughout each lesson.  We are driven by the desire to honor the Lord Jesus Christ in every aspect of our lives.

Love of Learning

“The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad..:”  Psalms 118:24

Our goal is for our students to experience the true joy of the Lord in their daily lives and in the simple daily tasks, like while they wait with anticipation and expectancy for each lessons to be taught. We want them to expect with enthusiasm the next poem or song that teaches them to memorize cities, capitals, multiplication tables, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Gettysburg Address and much more.  All this intertwined with grooming their horses, planting seeds for the new harvest season, planting new flowers for their hummingbird and butterfly garden, feeding their fish and more, help each student take pride in what they learn!  We enjoy each moment that we spend with the students as we ensure that they have a gratifying learning experience.

God's Rainbow is located on a beautifully diverse 5 acre piece of heaven on earth in the middle of award winning Sugarland, Texas. Our purpose is to coexist with wildlife and our natural surroundings as we continue to grow and expand our classrooms, organic fruit and vegetable gardens and livestock feeding grounds. We can now study all kinds of critters in their natural certified Wildlife Sanctuary. Our students can witness firsthand what can only be described in limited form in books.  Observing and studying a beautiful array of colorful birds, a variety of butterflies, lizards, squirrels, insects and so much more, is only one step away from their classroom.  Our students get to use all their senses to discover, observe, and study all animals on the property including how the ants, make their living, and how laboriously they work as teams, and above all how our students can learn from the positive traits of each critter they study and apply it to their own lives and honoring the Lord.
